Ali and Liana built Inspired By Scent to bring back the soul of perfumery. Ali's great-grandfather blended oils by hand long before mass production took over, and that legacy lives on in every bottle.

Today the house handcrafts perfume in New York and Texas, serving thousands of customers who want luxury without the luxury price tag.

How we do it

We source our fragrance oils from the same prestigious houses in France, Italy and Switzerland that supply the world's biggest luxury brands. Identical ingredients, none of the brand tax.

Some of our raw materials are better than what goes into the bottle you'd pay $465 for. The difference in price is marketing, not perfume.

We co-develop every recipe with established perfume houses in India, France and the UAE. Their perfumers sit with our team on each accord long before a scent reaches production, and they keep revising it until it holds up on skin rather than on a blotter.
Organic ethanol supplier
Lab Alley
Our perfume base is Lab Alley's 190-proof organic corn alcohol, 95% ethanol distilled from non-GMO American corn and certified USDA Organic to FCC food grade. It is three-stage filtered and never denatured, so no denaturants or harsh additives end up sitting on your skin.
Lab Alley is Texas-based and woman-owned, which keeps our alcohol sourcing as American as our blending.
