I initially got a sample of Sandalwood Grace as a sample for another perfume I had purchased. I was so wowed by the sample, that I purchased the 50 ml bottle...and boy was that a treat!!
Now about the perfume itself. To give you some background about myself, I have Southeast Asian origins and have grown up with the smells of oud, sandalwood and cardamom as I visited my family in the old country. So admittedly, these smells are not alien to me. If you have ever smelled good quality sandalwood, you know that smell cannot be replicated so well artificially but this one came pretty close. The top notes I could detect are of cardamom and cedarwood, the middle notes were definitely a floral and powdery smell of iris and then the amazing base note of sandalwood comes through.
I could not detect much leather, musk or amber but the sandalwood definitely steals the show in this parfum and lasts for a good 8 -10 hours if you are indoors...longer in cooler weather. All in all I definitely enjoyed the perfume quite a bit and is my new go-to in cooler weathers.
If you are a person like me who loves woody smells, values your money, prefers to be quality conscious and luxury brand agnostic - do yourself a favor and get the Sandalwood Grace. You will not be disappointed.
Such a great cologne! Sandalwood base makes it a well rounded smell. Fresh, light, but mighty. To top it off, long lasting! 10/10 would recommend.
